Perfect. So in my case, it may be possible to apply for a non-domicile CDL in E-2 status, wouldn't it make sense?

For example, in Texas and Florida if you follow the requirements for non-domicile CDL, I think it would be possible, but I'm not sure without talking to the DMV in person.

In your case, when you have the Green Card, you could get the US CDL, since you became an immigrant and no longer a non-immigrant.

I live in Europe also and am on E2 visa and plan to get a CDL.
