    Any Canadian Truckers have suggestions for an American Trucker who wants to Move to Ontario Canada? How are the trucking companies there? Positive/Negative/Pros/Cons.

    List of companies hiring would be appreciated.

    First Ontario is one heck of a big place so it would help to know what part of the province you are interested in. It seems that a lot of trucking companies are still hiring even though things are slowing down somewhat right now. The company that my wife works for is really good and I know that they are hiring. They have even brought in drivers from Europe to fill empty seats. Phone them and talk to recruting and they will tell you everything you need to know to get permission to drive in Canada for a Canadian company. The co. is Challenger Motor Freight in Cambridge On. That is 80 km. west of Toronto
