I'm just going to say it. Is the clutch pedal pushed down when your trying to adjust it??

Also you are pushing down on the lock retainer so bolt will turn correct??

Yes. I jam a stick between the pedal and the seat.

I pushed in the lock retainer. At first it was stuck, but I freed it and pushed it in. The clutch won't adjust. When I push hard on the breaker bar adjuster, the engine turns, not the clucth adjusting ring.

Yes. I've adjusted this one numerous times, but I took it off the road and it's been sitting a long time. I need to put it back on the road. I think maybe the clutch adjusting ring is rusted and frozen. —Just wundrin' if anybody else has dealt with the problem.

I have two trucks with this type of clutch and over the years I've done more than a dozen adjustments between the two of them, but this is the first time this has happened.
