    You could be right, but if she were to sue to get her job back the company would find out they didn't have a leg to stand on. I don't think that a court would see obeying a federal law is grounds for dismissal.

    I would love to see it. But I bet there is something in their handbook about abandoning a vehicle with passengers on board. That is where she could have problems.

    Personally, I think she did the right thing.
