Can't find anything local, so I must go back over the road.

Mabes maybe 18 days 3 home and it's in Eden NC. I called them but the recruiter is busy. Sounds like to me no one let's you take a truck home anymore. Butler might be cool to.

Butler lets you take the truck home.
Most companies let the driver take the truck home. A few don't, but most do.

Yeah mabes was iffy about it, they didn't want to say I could but didn't say I couldn't. Schneider used to let me but they got me home on Saturday every time and wanted me out Monday. I used to stay out two or three weeks with them. Got really annoyed with that. They fired me after the eld went out in the truck even though I did paper logs and sent them in they said I drove a full 24 hours.

Recruiters are IFFY about most questions because all they know about the company is what is typically on the company web site. The answer to all questions, especially the question they don't want to answer is "I'll have to check on that and get back to you." Guess who forgets to "get back to you"?

"I asked that car salesman if a Mazda Miata will have room for my 4 kids and luggage and he said he would get back to me with an answer."

Sons Hero and carterprnctn Thank this.
