    I am an expierienced truck driver with 3 years OTR under my belt. June last year in my personal vehicle I recieved a DUI. Since I have gotten my license back but cant find a company that will touch me. I currently live in CA but will relocate ANYWHERE as long as I can get back on the road. Any advice or companies out there willing to give a guy a second chance?

    I think your kinda out of luck. 3 years is the least amount of time you will be unhireable.

    Was it worth throwing away your source of income for a few drinks?

    Just think, a $30 cab ride and you would still be driving.

    have you taken any driver-ed classes or community service time..as part of your lost license sentence..??

    have you thought about maybe going back to a trucking school for a re-training course, even if only say 160 hours, to show you are serious about getting back in a truck..??

    it will be tough, i am sure you learned a valuable lesson, and when someone does hire you, for gosh sakes, don't do this ever again.
