I’m no expert but have you had the antenna calibrated(matched) with a SWR meter ?

Seems like you make new threads weekly about this. Take it to a CB shop.

Northeast salt and bad grounds are your problem. Check all your connections.

Buy a handheld CB and hold it as high as possible when transmitting. Please don’t walk all over the rest of us.

Cut your losses and sell everything that you are currently trying to use with no sucess, purchase a Wilson 1000 magnet mount antenna, put in it center of roof, swr probably doesnt even have to be checked ( I have never seen a high reading with this antenna) hookup radio and you are good to go, happy cbing!

In addition with the 1000 steel whip you will have some forgiveness if by chance you strike a tree limb,or go through a bank or fast food drive through, the same cant be said with Firestick it will most likely snap off the first time you hit something.

My Wilson 1000 mag mount sitting in the middle of my F250's roof performs just as described above. It's plug-and-play for sure.

I do put a little silicone in the joints where the antenna and the coax enter the housing as there have been a few reports of salty moisture getting in there and eventually causing corrosion. Don't know if it helps, but I sleep better.
