can't get hired

    Same song different music every place I applied I get same story need more miles need more exp I , live in minnesota and I've driven in snow but I'm down to lieing my ?... off still hasn't got me any where

    Only place you'll remain at with lieing is the unemployment line.How much exp do you have and what type of companies are you applying to? Maybe you don't have the requied exp those companies you've appled to.

    I presume you've checked Magnum since they hire newbies in MN. In NW MN, check Halvor Lines or Sue Vinje Trucking. Have you checked Craislist? There's more than meets the eye since a lot of companies hire with no experience AND train you.

    Could be something on his record too,because right now drivers are a high commodity.If you don't have the exp you may need to go back out with a trainer.Should'nt be that hard to get prehired.

    I graduated from south east tech inst. Here in fargo nd I live in moorhead mn across the river I've got my classA cdl I've driven a straight truck w air brakes about 500 miles and I've driven a 2011 freightliner with a 48 ft dry van about 1000 mile. Magnum is hiring but its in the yard movin trailers from 8 at nite until 430am I have no accidents no speeding no DUIs either the thing is I wanna stay local for awhile.a lot of small med carriers require any where from 3-12 mos exp a lot of work here is seasonal grounds froze 4 next 5 months

    It will be harder out in the sticks, so many drivers ran for the oilfeilds that theres a bit of a surplus out that way from what i have read. Take the mag gig but tell em you want to drive when they get a open truck. Might be a good foot in door situation.
