    Its to the point of utter stupidity--a key that Wal-Mart could duplicate for $2 now costs $150 for the blank and another $150+ to program. Brought to you by the same people who have designed a plastic gas can that has no vent and hurts your hand to hold open the spout...

    I purchased Jerry Cans from overseas, still have a few of the preban ones. They do have to be manually vented each summer. I kept them in a shed that itself was extremely vented.

    If I wanted to run more, I'll order more from overseas.

    Well, it's like the new "keys". Used to get a duplicate for under $3, now got to get a FOB blank, then pay a Stealership $150 to "program" it. The new keys are supposed to render a vehicle "unstealable", but search YouTube for "jiggaboojones" and he has a how-to video to steal anything under the sun.
