JRayl will do salary after 1 year. Home time is pretty good as well. I’ve been with them since September after going through their training. Ups and downs just like any job.

I would never do a straight salary at all, maybe base salary with a certain mileage or percentage pay on top of it. I am not sure how trucking companies that are offering salaries are working it, but some of the oilfield companies used to offer so much guaranteed during the slow times, but when hours picked up they took it back too. lol

K&b refrigerated says they guarantee $1200 a week gross for whatever that is worth.
Everybody is scrambling for freight through January. It may just be that. On the other hand, it is true what @stillwurkin said. Some companies give you a honeymoon with lots of mikes at first and then reality sets in.
Imho not a good time to switch jobs unless they are flat out starving you to death.D.Tibbitt, bryan21384, stillwurkin and 1 other person Thank this. -

Folks have to remember that companies think a load going 800-1000 miles is a long run these days. Its infrequent that drivers are under a load longer than 2 days

Shipex has salary of $1150.
Runs from salt lake city and back. -
A word of advice: wherever you’re working next year, when it’s busy put some money away for the slow times. Christmas and New Years are on Friday in 2020 so that means back to back 4 day weekends and that will take a few weeks to iron back out.
