    My son drives for another company that gives out safety awards like Wal-Mart does. No taxes on any of them.

    Well I had the same situation. There were several gifts given and Not one mention of paying taxes on them. Chairs, coolers, thermos cups, etc. So it was quite different when I was asked to fill out a form to have 10% tax rate on the item given taken out of my pay.

    Don't give up my friend...you are actually quite young compared to most drivers out here and it sounds like you have the right attitude. Remember, trucking is not just a job but a way of life;)
