my suggestion would be to have not worked past the third week when you were supposed to have gotten a check. Now you've worked another 3 weeks for free. good luck

Always ask to speak directly to the person they are blaming it on. You'll probably find they are playing games.
If it was true, they'd have to see that their accountant is causing them general trouble and problems with their contractors and should replace them immediately with someone that can do the job. But, I doubt any of that is happening. They probably have a high percentage of slow payers and just don't have it. -
AgreedThe second a check is late that needs to be the end of the work. No excuses, I am on my way to pick up my money!

I agree with everyone else here. There are two things that no one messes with in my life, well three things...my family, my pay/money, and my truck. In my eyes the company you are leased to has messed with all three of yours. You need to park the truck or lease on somewhere else and then get everything you have together and go see the problem in person. If this doesn't work then you should contact a lawyer. Which ever you do make sure you have your act together and act professional. Know what is owed to you and what you owe them to the penny. Take load confirmations, BOL, delivery reciepts, and fuel receipts (if needed) to the meeting. It is up to you and only you to prove what they owe you.
No offense to ya but let this be a lesson to all that this is a serious time. A person can not operate a business with out pay. I had a carrier that I was leased to contact me about 5 days before my settlement and told me that they were gonna be short on money. We worked out a deal that I would be paid late fees and interest on the unpaid amount. At the time of the deal I informed the carrier that this was a one time deal, the next time I peel the signs. -
Three weeks? The law says within 15 days after you suit paper work.
You might want to call OOIDA, you need to get your money before the file bankruptcy or you are totally screwed.
