that shouldnt affect that at all lol. Thats weird but my guess is it has nothing to do with adding memory

did you upgrade in pairs, or a single chip.

Most computers like to have pairs...

Do you have any firewalls or virus prgms running? You might be blocked.

adding memory should not affect the upload of photo's. But, memory chips may not play well with the orginal memory. Look under system info and see how much on board memory you have.

The photo may be too big also. Use Paint and bring it down in size and try again.

I'm betting the memory chips are incompatible with each other. Or one chip is bad. Has the system BSOD or did anything funny, since the new install ? Pull the new chip, boot the system up. See if you can upload a pic. Now reverse the process with the new chip installed and pulling out the old chip.

Also something to observe, the slot where you installed the new chip. You didn't happen to damage the slot when installing the new chip ?

Sorry, I should have said, the computer might need matching memory chips/boards. It might run with only one, but adding another might need to be exactly the same.

Crucial.com which sells memory, has a scanner that might help analyze your system. Typically it is first used to scan a properly working system and will tell you what to buy to add more memory. http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/

I hope you get it fixed soon. Rookietrucker's tests are a good idea also.
