Home time is my number one priority. So I look at the lanes the carrier is running. There is no sense in me working for a company that runs primarily north of Tennessee when I live in Alabama. There will be conflict there when it’s time to do a reset. I run my 70 out or very close to it weekly. But I want to be able to enjoy my life on the weekends. I look at what contracts the carrier is on. If they run boards it’s not going to be consistent. I love consistency. So that’s important to me. If the company is doing it right the money should be there if a driver puts in the work and that’s usually going to one of the last things that I ask about. So the first two issues is what would make or break me even looking at another company.

Your current drivers are your best advertisers. Nothing beats a recommendation from a content driver.Tobytob and brian991219 Thank this. -
I've seen companies that are hiring place vinyl " now hiring" banners on the fence of loading yards they frequent.
