Does anyone have any information about Cardinal Logistics? I know that they run mostly as a local company and have several accounts but I have not been able to find too much information about them from other drivers or web sites like this one. Are they trust worthy, honest, fair to their drivers... etc. I haven't heard anything good or bad about them. I take that as a good sign but I don't want to jump the gun. I know that they also offer a Lease program for local truck drivers (day cabs). But the website doesn't give any info about payments or equipment options or length of their Leases.
Any information would be a great help. They have several openings available in my area but I would like to get some feed back before I make any decisions.

I'm gonna revive this thread back from the dead. I just sent in an app. for them as they have a local opening here in my hometown. Do you have to lease a truck if you take this position or is there a company option? Info anyone?

My friend just applied there and was called for an interview. He was urging me to look into them as well. It would have been a no-brainer if I was still in Murrieta, but now I'm way down in San Diego. I would have to find a place to stay up there (120 miles from me) and come home on weekends. Maybe I can trade my Harley for a RV or conversion van?

They are sounding better by the minute. I have something working with USA truck but I'm not getting the warm and fuzzies about them from what I hear. Because of my distance to the Cardinal terminal, I would have to figure a way to stay up there for part of the week. I think I'm one or two weeks shy of a full year, is that a deal breaker with them?

Cardinal is hiring here locally in the Hampton roads area, Two accounts they have in the area are Home depot, and Chep Pallet. There info they sent me said they would train you on both accounts, to maintain flexibility within the fleet, however they say they need drivers more so for the home depot account.
So the question is to you all, what's the scoop with cardinal? Good place to work for, how they treat there drivers, how are the accounts to work for, etc. Any and all dirt would be appreciated. -

I worked for Cardinal for 4 years on an Home Depot account. I would still be there, but they lost the account I was on. They were very good to work for. I had a great boss, and the pay was fair for the job I did.
One year later I went back to work for them, same good company, but it was a produce account. I quit after one trip. I was not fair to them.
I too worked both accounts, Home Depot and Chep Pallets, no problem, no touch freight. CHEP was long hours, and lpts of double drop and hooks. Take the job if you can, home every night. Good Luck -
Sounds good so far, How was the equipment, how many days a week did you work, hours per week, any other info you might have or any other on the board might have.
Thanks folks! -
I have searched this form and only found a handful of posts on Cardinal Logistics. Does anyone have any dirt on them or good info? Hubby has been OTR with TMC for 1 yr and Regional for another. Now that we are married we would both like him to be home more often. I found out through Craigslist that Cardinal has openings for home every night positions in the area. He has an interview this week. Is it worth it to jump ship from TMC to Cardinal Log? Any input is appreciated.
