Get on YouTube, look up Bonehead truckers. That’s what it’s like out here… Thankfully those clips show the worst, unfortunately, drivers like that are getting much more common

Night time is the best time for trucking for the reasons you noticed. LTL and dedicated is what drives as night regularly. I drove nights only for 18 years and was home daily. Lived it. Even bad weather is easier when all the agressive day drivers are asleep.

If a person had a colonoscopy with a one time dose of fentanyl for a sedative, how long should they wait before applying for a job that requires hair testing?

Probably wouldn't show up if it's one time. Hair testing is meant to find regular, long term drug usage. If it does pop, the MRO will just need documents of the procedure

I think You should make Your CDL. I think also You should not make it to live from trucking. I am retired now and live since 12 Years in the US. Over the road You should drive (please forgive me my hard wording) maybe at the beginning for the adventure for a few month. For longer, You should do this only when You have a terrible lady at home. I think when You have a CDL and a few owner operators where You can help out once a while, and You don*t have to live from this, then it makes sense. I think You should make Your CDL and drive some times for some owner operators. Hold Your CDL clean, no tickets no accidents. and some thing like this. So, what I think is, is when You are self employed, You never know wha is going on with Your business tomorrow. When You have Your CDL and a good relation ship with a few owner operators, then when the $$$ becomes short, then it is some thing like Your unemploed insurance.
I do the same now, I am some thing like retired. Now I don*t need the $$§. But I don*t know what is tomorrow. So I drive local for a few owner operators. Avarage about 1x a week. Some times, I don don*t like it. Ach, I can go over this. But I know, just in case when the $$$$ short times are coming, I can drive more for them.
    All good
