I had a gate swapped from gravel gate to barn door one night for a some reason I'm not sure and no one told me.... Next morning dumping 35 ton of gravel hit the switch for the gate, kicked rear tires and went back to the truck, luckily the weld on the pin broke and blew the gate open in gravel, ever since then no matter what I'm pulling I always walk back and pull the gate open by hand to double check before dumping

Center point suspension pivots on a trunion. Very similar to the camel back mack or Hendrickson walking beam. Keeps all the tires on the ground when dumping

I have never had it happen but I always worry about having the gate stick or forgetting to open it. The thought makes me getting a funny feeling every time I dump.

I had a side dump tip on me a few times from frozen limestone or overloaded preloades trailer. Never went full over though
