Pity Cargo couldn't get you home when you needed to!! JJ has been running extremely hard since he started with themHe is much happier with Cargo, than he was with Central, talked to a L/O friend today well actually had coffee and lunch with him and he can't wait to leave Central, he just doesn't want to have to deal with the same BS we are still dealing with!!
After reading the horror stories guys still want to lease with Central (SHAKES head poor suckers)

One of the first things we tell anyone looking at Central is "do not lease".
But at least 30% of the ones we say that too eventually do.
They have all kinds of excuses for doing it. And all think it will be better for them due to whatever situation they happen to have. But 95% of the time it ends the same as all the others. With loss of income. -
Well I made it to Armidillo and dropped my load. My next load is 1 of them 4 day windows that started yesterday. Figured the other shoe had dropped but OMG!!!!! Load was ready. Out of time so left it there and will get it tomorrow morning. Will have just enough time (barely) to run this load to Olathe.
Was at the turnpike rest area last night in Vinita, Ok when I was woke up by the sounds of silence and some sweating. APU went tits up and quick working. Luckily, the sun was down and the temp was around 70, so opened the vents up and got a fan out of the sidr box. Cool enough I actually had to use a sheet about 1 this morning.
Since APU not working, company put me up in a motel. A really cheap place I picked and is slated to be torn down. The Love's next door bought it and am assuming they plan to expand. As cheap as it is, meets my requirements. Clean sheets, can take a shower, and has a remote control.
Limited tv tho. Oh well.
When I did my breakdown last night, was told no TK's would be open till Monday. Hmmm, Tulsa, OK is open on Sat. and so is the one in Armidillo. Wonder why I didn't say anything to them? Hmmmmmmmm -
Heads up, Cargo is hiring for drivers in Phoenix? Here is the link.

Good luck. TD. -
Thanks, I listened and heeded your (everyone's) advice. If I decide to be an o/o it will be an outright purchase and I will run the business. It will not run me...too much.jess-juju Thanks this.

Happy someone listens!!
Wish JJ and I had off listened!
We are saving every penny we can for our own truck at least if it doesn't work out its on us!

Looks like I lied and didn't have the hrs to run the load to Olathe. Thats ok tho. Did have the hours to get to the house and am doing a reset, maybe, with the family. Say maybe cause I may take the trk to TK tomorrow to get the APU fixed. Will see what breakdown says when I talk to them tomorrow.
And Jess, would have been happy to go with Cargo if they would have guaranteed I'd see the house every 4 to 5 weeks. Wouldn't even do that tho. Oh well.
On a different note, looks like the economy maybe picking up some. Just looked at the want ads and haven't seen so many for a long time now. 1st time I've seen an advertisment for Indian River in an Ok. paper. -
