You can get some great deals at sierra trading post dot com. They email me 35-45% off coupons all the time. It's usually minor defects or overstock stuff.

A word of caution concerning purchases of Carharts online. Many of their products, bibs especially, are not sized as one would expect. If you plan to order online be sure to try on the intended style of clothing you plan to purchase at a retail outlet in order to get the correct size, else you will suffer frustration. Example; my pant size is 34x36 normally but, I had to purchase 40x34 in bibs for a proper fit and 36x36 in the double front cargo pant to fit, and each style of pant(cut) fit me differently. Try before you buy.

Runnings Stores carry a large inventory of Carhartt. Very durable and warm. Wouldn't use anything else.

I have had the same Carhartt overalls and work jacket for the past 10 years.

    Extremely durable.

I will stop in Bass Pro Shops every now and then and see what "RedHead" clothing they have. RedHead makes some very durable work shirts and hoodies for tall & big men.

Guess no one wears the pants...
How about washing Carhartt jackets,,, what is the best way to get grease out, if at all possible?

As for wearing the pants, I mentioned that I do, just two posts before yours, I have no negatives to report about them. Try hand cleaner for treating grease prior to putting them in the wash.

    SheepDog Thanks this.

How do you compare Carhartt pants to other pants? Thanks for the tip, I will give that a try as I haven't washed my jacket yet, since I got the new grease on it.
