I worked for Dave and Cookie for a couple years. They were a good place then. Almost 100% grocery warehouse, mainly truckload, didn't go south of Virginia, west of Ohio, and all the way to Maine. You ran out of Mech and back. Off on weekends. Good equipment, good shop, decent dispatch. I bought my first two trucks while working there, and while not the most fantastic job in the world sitting at a Wakefern, White Rose, or C&S everyday, it provided a decent paycheck and great hometime. Once you get the hang of it, if its still the same, you'll never shower or need to eat in a truckstop again. If they still do DSD's, you could deliver direct to Shop Rite stores on occasion when they are having a big sale.
