I'm there twice a week for my half hour, hour break. Never saw it in the old days... it's just another Petro now. But it's the only chain truck stop from Texarkana almost to Laredo where I know there will be a genuine yellow striped parking space available any time day or night. You compare it to a zoo like the Flying J on the Arkansas side of Texarkana...it really looks good. A glittering oasis of tranquility.
And if you’re way in the back past the tire shop in August you’ll need a shower after the walk back to the truck from getting a shower.
There was a young couple that supposedly owned it for a very short time in between Willie and Petro. I was in there once when they were there. Next time through it was closed. After became a Petro it made me wonder if they bought it just to flip to one of the big boys
