    You're probably better off at a 1099 outfit.

    Disagree. Unless your aunt/uncle/mother/brother is a CPA, and you plan accordingly for taxes, one can really screw ones self. The extra money you MAY make, needs to go to Uncle Sam, STAT. Lest you will owe him MORE than that at the end of the year!!!!

    The best thing I can say is for op to hit up all the trucking schools near him and ask if they have connections with any second chance companies.

    I went to my 1099 company straight outta school..

    I would say maybe the op doesn't want or plan to change companies for awhile.For him the pay isn't as important and clearing his record is.

    It's really cool...I actually love it! First few days shifting wasn't so pretty. Now it's fine...up & down. I mean I'll still grind a little but not bad like before. Docking not bad Cuz I could usually take my time. But parking like at loves and other truck stops I get frustrated...feel like I'm holding up the whole industry sumtimes...lol
    Mostly only haul produce...west coast/East coast. Done with trainer after this trip!
