I have never worked at CC but I feel sure even at .10 cpm you would still easily clear more than $800 per month. Probably at least twice that.

$800 before taxes is roughly 3 (THREE) days of driving solo!
I started fresh out of school at 48 CPM +$25/stop (1099). -

How is OP going to take care of himself and a son (!) @10 CPM?!
That truck has to make 8000 miles in a week (assuming they won't ripp him off on miles) for OP to gross $400.
Are you kidding me?Canned Spam, TruckerSlim and Florida Playboy Thank this. -
8k miles a week would be $800 a week. 10cpm for all truck miles not just his. Safe to say op is gonna probably make closer to 5 600 a week before Uncle Sam gets ahold of him.. which is horrible -
^^^^ better than nada. better than 23 cents a day. Give him a chance, guys. #####.
Just passing by and RedRover Thank this. -
My problem is with CC. They are exploiting people with a past and making a killing off of it. Sure, their insurance premiums are higher and they may have more risk, but their drivers are still under the same risks and regulations that every other driver faces. No matter the person's past, he deserves to be compensated according to the industry he is in, and the risks and lifestyle associated with that industry.
That's all I'm saying.Canned Spam, TruckerSlim, G13Tomcat and 3 others Thank this.
