So with all that responsibility your making 20 cents a mile?
I can go to work for butler and make 34 cents and not be paying for fuel or a truck.
I never earned 10 cents a mile at carolina cargo. I started out making 12 cents a mile with 6months otr from 10 years before. and when I left I was making 14 cents with 1 cent on time bonus so make that 15 cents a mile for all miles that the truck turned driving or sleeping while my fabulous codriver who never quite made that much did not mind me making that while I slept til the sun came up. This is the way that all teams should be set up. One for the day and one for the night. that way the body is not put through too much stress with the circadian rythyms being knocked out of whack. But if your happy with your financial situation with Buel then I say bravo to you sir.
You have succeeded where others have failed. My hat is off to you!!! -
i worked at cc and gave them a shot but wont making the money i need. and cant get paid until you get back back to yard, and trip in hole just is bad busneiss for me , i ran from day one .and left after a month , i got my truck at buel while working for them, knew i couldnt afford to stay at cc .after expenses i took home 1500 bucks beats the hell out of the few hundred you make at cc. i liked the people but da pay.they let you run . buel also lets you run trick to it is watch where you buy fuel and run the routes right dont be late. gotta have get up and go! Wont get rich but a living.
Bungholio Thanks this. -

Yeh they tell to hit the skip button, i worked there and they aint about nothing.you speak of newer trucks half of them already around back in junk yard wrecked
haulin' mama and Bungholio Thank this. -
I have never been told to hit the skip button. If half those trucks you speak of are wrecked, I would say they need to hire Drivers who know how to drive like you and I.
Now as for Buel, If you can make a compelling argument that you make more money there,in miles compared to someone who makes 35 cents an hour with out the financial liability,I am eager to learn more. I know one driver who tried to make it there and he said he hardly earned enough to eat on after all the expenses.
That is why I need more information from more drivers from Buel and their experience. Many people who are in the situation where they can not work at jb hunt or any other big carrier are for the most part handicapped in part do to education, discipline, and may have poor spending habits.
If I did well at CC financially, Then logically it follows that at Buel I would be more financially well off.
So please share with me and other potential drivers for Buel all that you can to reinforce your argument and try to stop passing on hearsay info about CC.
Tell us more about Buel so that we can make a more informed decision.
Thanks -
