Dj i hope & pray that by now things are falling into place better for you!!All the ** you go through and not even with a felony. Its admirable very admirable that you are not allowing a run- in with the law and it's all too consuming effect to keep you from trying to earn a legitimate living.
Trucking is not an easy way to go even for those who have never had the joy of jail time and trying to get back into a productive taxpaying mode of operation in society. Been out 8 years now and could write a book on what my life was like for 10 on the inside but the real read would be what the past 8 years of so called freedom on the outside have been like. Plenty of things to be thankful for though. It just gets really old Always having a previous conviction outweighing the here and now and what a persons actual ability and experience might be to do a specific job. Thanks for your post even though it was a while ago. Bless you it's an inspiration to me to read of an individual(S) WHO INFACT DID GET A SECOND CHANCE INSPITE OF THE NEGATIVE ODDS AND NEGATIVE ATTITUDES OF WHAT SEEMS TO BE A MAJORITY IN THE "HIRING DECISION MAKING PROCESS":biggrin_25514:

CC is ok in some areas others not so much. dispatch is a b**** to get ahold of. My husband has had to call me to reroute him. The first time he was gone a month it seemed ok. sure they dont care how long you take off because they have new ppl every week. the pay sucks but its your foot in the door. this second time going out hes already sat more than hes moved. its one of those companies where you just dont stick around long

    Hello,

I'm fresh out of school and the school is supppose to help with job placement. They say they are in contact with CC but sure do seem to be having trouble getting answers. I was wondering if anyone could give me a lead on a number and who to get in contact with at CC. To find out for myself what is the hold up on my application. Thanks!

They will hire you any way but have to be in a truck with someone that have exp and you have to go threw their training all overs again but they are good people I never had a problem with them but that's me only thing I did not like was the fact of 1099. I started their withonly a couple months they where the second company I drove for. My trainer from cc got me on.
