There is a bit of poetic justice in Carolina Cargo taking advantage of felons, who took advantage of regular citizens and the law. Sorry. I don't have that soft spot in my heart. Im
a survivor of violent crime, and its hard for me to show any sympathy. If you've paid your debt to society, and this is your road to redemption, then so be it. I will say I appreciate the fact that you're willing to roll with the punches to make yourself right. That does count for something. Stay safe.

The trouble with your position is that not all felons are violent criminals. If you got caught possessing a bit of a certain green recreational substance, for instance, you are a felon. And the only reason that certain green recreational substance is illegal is because the private prisons want more profit, and big companies need a good supply of slave labor right here in the US. But that's a whoooooole different can of worms, and one I'm not going to further post about in this thread.

I happen to agree with you on that. I'm pretty anti drug, but when it comes to pot I don't care what people do except for the fact if you know it's illegal, don't put it on everyone else that you got caught, you know? I always say we make our own deal in life. It's up to us to do right.

Anyone have anything new to say about this company? Still .10 a mile? I guess if they are running produce they probably don't do much in the winter months eh?

If they go west and haul produce back then they have constant freight year round because theres always farms shipping out west regardless of the time of year. If you arent picking up at the farms youll pick up at the coolers.

The .10 cpm is low pay, but, you get paid for all dispatched miles, whether you're driving or sleeping. That's why it's called .20 cpm split. It's non-stop coast-to-coast running.

If your in NH you would have to relocate to SC which in my opinion is not a bad idea if you can find work there.
Carolina Cargo has a good customer in CA that is not produce and is drop and hook(in and out in 30 minutes)
and these loads weigh less than 20 thousand lbs and go to Orlando Florida mostly .Not so much produce anymore since this customer is more profitable for CC and less time consuming. no reefer issues and almost 90 percent of your loads now coming from Southern Callie would be from this place. You cant take your truck home so unless you want to relocate to SC you should just forget about it. NH is a long drive home every three weeks or so.
