I wish I could understand your post but I can't...I guess that makes me racist

 

It all just depends on the circumstances. But I would agree that there are some pretty ridiculous lawsuits, like guys spilling scalding hot coffee on their crotch while driving and then suing McDonalds over it.

 

Honestly, I don't understand where a lot of you are coming from and I could barely understand what the op was saying and he neglected to give us a definite outcome to his story. All I know is he DOES have a case in my opinion if Carolina Cargo let him go after he told them his trainer was a RACIST and they didn't give him another trainer or at least a road test to prove to them that he was a safe driver.

We can only take this post with a grain of salt because of how POORLY it was written. But if somebody was treated unfairly and discriminated against on the job, the company should have a protocol to follow and not just take a "reputable" trainer's word who had only worked there for 6 months.

I don't think the trainer was reprimanded at all according to the op because if he was he would have been suspended or FIRED by most companies being that no reputable company wants ANYTHING to do with a looming discrimination lawsuit.

And whoever feels that the op or whoever should just shrug off bad unethical treatment from a company whether it is discriminatory or not is one of many reasons drivers don't get what they were getting in the past and gets treated like trash! THAT'S A WHOLE 'NOTHER STORY WE ALL SHOULD DISCUSS!

 

juwandawon, I had same trainer 3 years ago you are right he is a ###, punched me in the face at truckstop because his fuel card wouldn't go through, I kicked his ### ,got fuel using my card got back in truck continued on, he wasn't satisfied and had to pull over and kick his ### again . Got back to SC reported him to dispatch , they just put a new driver with him in different truck. heard he went to drive for different company and couldn't make it there because of his attitude and his racism hear now he's back at CC. they hire newbee's out of school or if record keeps them for getting in with major carriers, I kind of have mixed feelings about them , there's both good and bad . I will say this pretrip your truck and trailer extra,extra well , shop doesn't do to well ,they have lot of older trucks and after you been there for a while you can get lucky and get better tractor, if you can manage to last that long, . They are a slip-seat company you may have different co-driver each time you go out
