I agree, if it a BS report and its put up over anger/spite/retaliation you're gonna be able to sort it out if you start talking about an attorney.

Hell, even if its a legit report, mention legal action and most folks will fold.

You definitely have the option to reply to the FG reports, i read some from the Ice Road trucker guys that roasted a broker. HILARIOUS!!

That being said, 411 offers brokers an amazing product and i would never NOT use it. Saved me thousands and thousands of dollars avoiding scam carriers or potential situations where i would get stroked. If a carrier likes to rail shipments without consent, we as brokers need to know about it so we can avoid them. IF they like to assault dock workers, id like to know about it so we ca no load them.

And FYI carriers do the same thing. I know of one that has left 40 1 star DAT reviews on brokers for no reason other than they are a butthurt betty so this goes both ways. Any broker that isnt an idiot ( which is farther and fewer between, just like good drivers these days ) knows what FGs are slander, and what kinds or brokers like to leave them for nonsense, at least i do anyway.

Hey everybody I recommend that we write the names of every Broker and their company, for everyone load that gets cancel because "someone" left a bad report in brokerguard 411 and pass it on to all of us Truckers, via word of mouth, email, telephone call, CB radio, Just Yell it: Broker so and so of such company denied me a load........so that when them brokers come crying offering their loads to "anytrucker" whom responds, we just say NO! I will not help you now because in such date you choose to believe the lies of brokers on brokerguard 411. Also File a case at your county and send the broker a copy so that he understand that we are not going down easy. if you are a sole proprietor you don't need a lawyer, if you are some kind of corporation just place the date as far off as you can, then show yourself at the court day and ask for a continuance then the next time show up with your lawyer. and fight their ###!

IF carriers didnt do stupid stuff all of the time, and scammers didnt rail shipments, double broker, lose/steal freight, or attempt to ruin my business.... there would be no need for 411. But im in the business of taking care of my customers so i can feed my kids. If i dont want to work with a particular entity, it is my choice. IF a carrier has a FG for being double brokering, im not using them. IF they have one for being late, i dont really care about that unless they are late on my loads.

Hi there guys I have this issue with a broker threatening me with a freightguard report. I booked a load on Tuesday morning from Fruitland MD and I did my delivery in Jessup MD. I got unloaded in Jessup at noon and I started driving towards the shipper. I got over William Preston Bridge and was only about 30 miles from shipper when broker called me saying load got canceled on him. I was pissed but I handled myself telling him to send me a TONU. He said he will.
2 days later he's saying he won't pay anything since I didn't get to shipper so he's not required to. (There was no appointment FCFS BY 6pm) my eta was 2pm)
I got angry and called him a coward for seling a load cheaper and pretending being a victim yet threatening me with a report.
My question is can he? I know I should have handled my emotions but it got better of me since this market fuel and toll prices and here broker is lying straight to my face.

You obviously signed a ratecon and broker/carrier agreement. You need to look at both of these as some brokers tell what they need and how they process the TONU. It has happened to me and I have just let it go. I have also billed and got it twice. Both times I was within an hour of being at the shipper. The market the way it is now we all need to put this in writing on the ratecon. Something like if load cancels within 2/3 hours before pickup the broker is responsible for reasonable TONU. You will be seeing more brokers book loads and cancel them if they find a cheaper carrier. Also don’t scream of cuss these guys. Write them down in a notebook. When it turns back to your favor “it always does” gouge the rate on them.

I consider myself a fair broker. Always paying better than the TQLs out there. That being said, if market is 5000 for a load an you call in asking 7000, im making the same notes in my little notebook as well. As for Carrier 411, its a very helpful tool for weeding out the non-hackers in this industry. Like boot camp is for the Marines. I look for patterns in the reports, if i see 5 FG reports for no call no show, im not booking you for a Saturday pickup. If i see you fight and argue with shippers and receivers, im not using you either. Also helps us keep track of the All State Association scammers with the fake MC#s they use to book loads and then double broker them. You can search shady phone numbers, look up the PO Box these turds use to scam, and track names of the clowns setting up the scam companies.

The guy that reported my business talked to me so reckless and was being a total butthead! I picked up the load and took it off after he tried to humiliate me and my driver, it was obviously he was racist and was angry even after I accepted the load. I never freight guard a load, and after he accused me of doing so, I took the load off my truck, and he repeatedly sent me threatening emails about me and my business hours after I left from the site. I reported him to the BBB to get this resolve, so we'll see how this goes.
