I live in Northeastern Wyoming (BFE) and was told by a few OTR recruiters that I lived too far from their base and they wouldn't hire me. I am a recent CDL school Grad so I need to work for one of the carriers that hires fools like me.

I was planning on moving to Dallas next week (free place to stay) to be closer to some carriers terminals, I got an approval from Werner but I've been reading a lot about them here, mostly bad. If I could work out of Denver my wife wouldn't kill me for leaving her in northeastern Wyoming. Anyone have suggestions for companies with terminals in Denver that would hire a recent CDL grad and not balk at my living 6 hours away. While your at it, any ones that pay great, treat their drivers like gold, dole out long trips and masage your back when you get home every weekend?. LOL

Navajo, Voyager (drop yard,) (Weener has a terminal there, but I agree - avoid!) Prime has a drop yard and dispatch office there. I pull for Prime, and they've treated me well. You might want to give them a call - we pull a lot of freight along I80. I think Crete or CFI/Conway has a place up in Cheyenne.
