They claim the high cost of fighting lawsuits; well that's what you get by hiring low-quality drivers and paying .46 base wages. Till this day, after 71 years in business, they still put-up new drivers in disgusting, dirty barracks for orientation. After all this time a good company should be able to put drivers in quality motels and be paying some of the highest wages. The owners don't seem to be starving. They just brought in on themselves and shove court/lawyers costs as the reason for closing but it seems they never took an inward look at themselves.

They are like many big companies today; they hire 35-40 drivers every week and many have 2 orientations weekly. Do they ever stop and ask why we have to hire so many drivers weekly? No, just keep paying low wages, shove more unpaid work on drivers and shove more safety rules on them, don't want to pay detention, force drivers to crop and edit BOL, have dispatchers who talk drivers down and talk to them like they're a bratty child with no respect. What- we need to change our ways in the office? No, it's all about the nasty drivers and we are always in the right. This is pretty much it in most companies today.
