Okay I see what you did there. I like how you have that set up.
Do you put a tarp on that or do you leave that open to the elements? No problems with that?
How long have you been using that set-up?

Your opinion...
1st year cost for my setup
Generator $849 - 20% = $679.20
2 year warrenty $159 - 10% = $143.10
(10% discount sale on Generator)
(10% discount on Total 1st use harbor freight cc)
Remote start kit $129 (1 time cost)
Extended run kit $259 (1 time cost)
Custom box $225 frame mount (1 time cost)
Portable ac $300 (5.100 btu)
Reroute exhaust $17 (1 time cost)
Total cost 1st year $1,752.30
I can replace the Generator , ac, and Extended warrenty (at full price
if needed) every 2 years for $1,328
That's a total cost of $7064.30 for 6 years.... versus what $13,000 for a new apu.... -
1) Do you have a box for that or does that stay open on the catwalk like the photo? I was going to leave mine open and just put a tarp on it when I'm not using it at least for now.
2) If you installed the remote start kit how do you like it? How much of a job was it to install it? Does the choke work properly with it?
3) If you installed the extended run kit what kind of a fuel tank are you using? How many gallons is it?
4) How long have you been running this? -
Dino soar Thanks this.
