I'm with Great West and they've been awesome but I guess you're right, there's not much your adjuster can do if they have witnesses and you don't. Such a nasty position to be in as a Carrier. Sure sucks you didn't save that video somewhere über safe. I hope it works out for you.

 

That sounds more like whoever has commercial insurance is at fault. I don’t care where I am, you come into my lane and hit me, I’m not at fault in any way. You only have to prove you were in your lane. That’s your only defence though, if you can’t prove that you could be found wholly or partially at fault. Depends on the court, they seem to have a commercial insurance is guilty default if you don’t have hard proof you were in your lane.

...even adjuster getting it ...but no one can do a thing ...no video of truck in line , people in pass car obviously vote for driver ...

 

The question of "who's at fault?" gets asked repeatedly on forums and in trucking groups on Facebook. We as professional drivers should remember nobody that matters cares. The question that does matter is "was it preventable?" If you can prevent a merge accident, you do, no matter who has the right of way.
