I could not find any good comparison online between these two trucks.
Looking at 2014 models, would like to know the differences between them. With DD15 engines.
If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!

The Evolution probably has extra stuff for MPGs. You can still spec it wrong and lose the benefits
BoyWander Thanks this. -
I know the Evolutions have the DD15 GHG14 model engine but not sure about 2013 Cascadia 125s, I don't know when they started putting the new engine models in the 125s. And these dealerships don't specify on their ads.

Hey i know this is pretty old but i was looking for a cascadia my self and couldn't find the difference until i saw both trucks in person. I notice that the dash board changes in the Evolution from the standard cascadia. the side fairings in the Evo go all the way back and it brings the side skirts besides that its all pretty much the same.

Besides some changes in the front bumper, fairings, redesigned mirror covers and deleting the CB radio mounts to improve aerodynamics, it's the same truck.
It's still a pig with lipstick on.poppapump1332 and Oxbow Thank this. -
engines are different. evo does not have apt.
-
You can get any engine option DD13-DD16 with APT or asymmetric turbo. Just depends how it's spec'd.
-
All of the newer than sometime in 2014(2015?)sleeper trucks have the antennas in the roof.
Evolution seals front bumper better to the hood, full farings flared out to cover the drive tires better. The mirror covers were redesigned to reduce splashing on the mirrors.
The Turbo Compounding, I'd have to look at. We have a few newer ones that aren't Evolutions. I don't like the fairings in our climate. -
the freightliner's website says Evo has DD15 engine and Cascadia 125 has DD15AT. You can see what is the difference between DD15 and DD15AT at Detroit's website.

I think that turbo compounding is a senseless device on engine.. one beautiful day it will make a problem by throwing oil into aftertreatment.
