    These things are brutal.

Iv'e tried some gel seat cushions and they just spread the pain around a larger area, not worth the money IMO. Now I'm using a cheap memory foam pillow that works ok.

Am I missing something? Perhaps I'm sitting on them wrong.

Dude try driving for 10 hours a day on those old spring seats that never work, I would never complain about any air ride seat, unless its all steel with no cushion, I learned to drive in a old pay star off road water truck, then moved into browny boxes in a mack, today I feel like god in any truck that has air under me and coming out the dash.

It's a company fleet truck so I think your right. They don't slip-seat so I might go shopping around for a better one to replace it.

Sapp Bros in Cheyenne has some (Seats) Legacy Silver for $850 or so. Priced to move is what the paper on them said, not sure what they usually go for.

Picked one up and I like it alot better.

I never understood why someone would pay a high price for an air seat just to let all the air out so it would have no air support at all.

Just doing some research on what foam to buy when I redo my seat. It's the good ol' Seats Eldorado.

My bony butt cheeks need better cradling.

I'm buying a WonderGel Extreme cushion and gonna put new foam around it and re-use the original velour cover which, after cleaning looks almost like new even though it's got a million butt miles on it not to mention quite a few doggie butt miles too. I like the fake leather but i need fabric that breathes.

Seat foam breaks down after a few years and the best stuff only lasts 10 - 12 years.

I've already welded wire across the back frame a few years ago and put in a plywood insert to keep the back from blowing out. Just need a thicker square of foam to put in the lumbar area.

The cost of the WonderGel and some seat foam will only be a bit over $100 after shipping I'll have a sweet seat and those ripoff seat companies can keep their thousand dollar seats.
