As a co. Driver every cascadia tractor I been assigned to had had a starter problem. When you depress the clutch pedal and turn the ignition switch it won't start any body got a sloution . Always end up getting towed to the shop.

Does it try to turn over any at all when it does this?
Do you have a cooler or anything that your leave running?

I've seen many starting problems especially on freightliners caused by the starter to frame ground not getting good contact at the frame.

I currently run a 2007 Columbia. About two months ago, it was in the (Ryder) shop for its own problems. They loaned us a 2012 Frieghtliner of some sort. We had it a few days & the starter went out. It just wouldnt turn over at all... just click. They mechanic that came out from Ryder told me that the last couple of years, the starter design on the new trucks was causing them problems. He said they have changed a bunch of starters on the newer trucks.

Nothing is run n it happened over time the switch on the floor board gets worn out I think because I have to keep putting more and more pressure on the clutch pedal to get it to start until eventually it won' t work any longer and have to get towed to the shop this has happened on all three units I have been assigned .

I left Freightliner in 2007 not one truck had a clutch switch then they have 2 starter relays, one on the firewall upper left area, and the one on the starter.
If it cranks and does not start you want it connected to a laptop and scroll down till the srs sensor come up it must switch to yes to start, sensor is behind the air compressor, it switches to yes in the first revolution. You can not have any codes that have 155 incidents or it will not start, it is not suppose to do that but it does, I had one that had low water for 155 counts and it would not start, added coolant, and cleared the code, no more problems.
    Just a thought!

OK just got my cascadia out of the shop at freightliner and they said it was the "clutch switch" alright. So if your cascadia starts giving ya probe starting this could be the source. TY for all yo help ;)

take hammer and hit the bottom of the starter few times. try starting again. be careful not to hit the plastic back area.
