I have a 1996 Kenworth T600 that I just purchased The owner said it blew the fuel filter off. I found that hard to believe so i put a new cat filter on and....ran for 3-4 minutes and boom it blew off. Look at the picture. Possibly a plugged return line? I am not a cat guy and couldn't find the return. I am open to suggestions!!
Thanks!!

Any pics of what’s left of the filter? -
That picture shows the top of the filter. It rest looks like a soup can that has been opened.

Holy restriction. Return hose is plugged or pressure regulating valve in filter head is plugged.
A5¢, Big Road Skateboard, Oxbow and 3 others Thank this. -
Find whatever is causing it fast before running it again. Should be easy to find.
-
I hope. Not sure where all the check/pressure valves are. Also looking for the return line. I just don't have much experience with Cat motors. Mostly Cummins and Detroit

Post your engine serial #.

Fuel return should come off the back side of the head and run back to the fuel filter block
spsauerland and Big Road Skateboard Thank this.
