Cat BSX iva/injector harness replacement

    So I need to swap out my injector harness on my BS .

    What else do i need to buy other than the harnesses, which gaskets need to be replaced while doing the job.

    I know the valve cover seals are reusable, what about the gasket between the head and the framework that the wire harness is tied into? Is it a reusable seal or a gasket that needs to be replaced?

    Square grey rope seal on the valve cover base to the head. RTV sealant at rope joint. I always replace valve cover gaskets unless I know the age. May need some 5/16 helicoils, too....

    Get the oil seals at the harness to base too.

    I would change all oil galley plug orings on the allen plugs in the base. They get hard and brittle. Jake or oil feed bridge o-rings as well.
