cat c12 3406e engine swap

    I have a 03 kenworth t800 that has a c12 in it and we are putting a 3406e that I bought from a salvaged 2000 sterling I know the motor mounts will need to be changed along with some other things but I was just wondering if anyone has done this before that can give me some insight on what im getting myself into. the c12 is already pulled and I have the engines side by side. thanks

    See if you can get the right wiring harness from KW. Besides that, it would just be figuring out all the plumbing and fan.

    It probably will but I would check and make sure the tranny and clutch will work with the bigger engine

    Why not swap in a different c12? If tuned they pull amazing!

    The biggest thing is the computer is your a 70 pin or 40 pin and the same for that e model would you be interested in selling the C12
