anyone do a pdi or any manifold and turbo upgrade or know anyone that did it. Cost means nothing to me. Just kinda skeptical about losing low end power. Don’t know much about these types of upgrades. Already have a 500+hp tune and truck runs with the big dogs but hey who doesn’t want more power. But that’s not the issue here. Just curious about low end power. I spoke with a guy that did a turbo upgrade on his 3406 and told me worst decision he made and feels like truck lost a ton of power down low. Not sure if he’s talking lag or what. Anyhow, your thoughts

If money is no object just take it to PTI in Utah have them put a cam manifold turbo and set your ECM after that the only thing you can do is put bigger injectors but I know nothing about a C 12 I’m talking C 15 ! But those guys out there are very friendly and they will help you with anything you need !

This is exactly why custom twins are far superior to a big lagging Single or a puny restrictive stock turbo.

Custom twins can come in early and have very broad power and efficiency with low low egt.

    Cam Roberts Thanks this.
