What exactly does a "De-Acerted" Cat mean? Is that just going from two to one turbo? Only other Cats I have are 3406's, not very familiar with the Acerts.
Cat C15 "de-acert"?

Not sure this can be discussed anymore ???
To me it means using lower compression pistons and getting rid of the vva crap in addition to losing 1 of the turbos.
But what do I knowrogueunh Thanks this. -
I saw a truck for sale with a "de-acerted" C15 and am just trying to find out exactly what that means. It did say single turbo, but that was it.

If you don't know the truck and or who deacerted it I would be very careful .....
