Cat c15 oil leak from behind fan mount?????

    So you guys are saying it’s leaking from the studs that hold the fan onto the front of the motor ? Mine has oil coming from up there after I washed it I can see it’s running from up there not the front main seal like I thought

    they're also prone to cracking just above where those 2 studs are.

    Put o rings on mine now 0 oil leaks haha n I thought had to do front main

    Take the stud out and bevel the edge of the hole just a little and put a o-ring on it that fits the bevel and put bolt back in. Problem solved

    Take the bolt out. Bevel the edge of the hole a little put a o-ring on it and replace the bolt. Problem solved

    Hi guys
    I have an oil leak and I was thinking it was the front crank seal, maybe this is my issue too, can anyone send a pic of the studs that you guys talk about?
    I took these pics a couple of days ago how bad mine looks like but when I check my oil level still on the max, I just changed it last weekend.
    Thank you for the help guys and sorry to high jack this thread.

    guys
    Can anyone tell me where I can find the studs that holds the hub? I Went to dealer but because truck is too old they can not even find the pic on the system. Please help
