When you say "did top end" you ran the overhead also called adjusting the valve lash correct?

Everything new head and up, Yes all valves have been adjusted correctly. Could it be boggy injector while I was Idling it was cold out. When I drive at times I see black smoke when pulling ?

This blue stuff is relentless when it comes to removal. The best method I have found is hot pressure washer from a distance for removal. This must be done from all angles to get all the nooks and crannies. Guaranteed a free bath before your finished. Blow and air dry overnight if you want any chance for the paint to adhere properly. I usually sling the cam with a lifting strap and pressure wash along with the head.

Better than opening up a rusty new part any day. I wish more manufacturers followed suit on sensitive engine parts, even though it's a pain in the rump to deal with.

I worked for CAT doing marine engine rebuilds for 4 years. Im very familiar with cosmocrap. We had a 250degree steam cleaner and everything got washed with that as soon as we got it from our parts department, then painted and sent to the boat. Lol
