hi all,
wonder if anyone else in the world of tri=ucking is still having trouble with cat c16 engines breaking rocker arms. happy to hear your stories if you have one or many to tell. im from new zealand and i am sure i'm getting a snow job on this topic so any info you can share will be appreciated

Not a C-16 but my C-15 broke two a couple years ago. It broke the tips off of them. I wouldn't have known but for the shop having to look at the injectors while replacing my fried ECU after a lightning hit.

Mine broke too,there is a upgrade for them I had them fitted 700,000km ago still going strong.
Goughs should have told you that.
Over revving on the jakes wont help either. -
My friend also broke his rocker arm on his C-15 pete last year

We did lots of broken and bent rocker arms, every time the exhaust rocker arm breaks the intake bridge needs to be changed, and the intake rocker inspected we just changed that one as a rule.
We did a lot of cams on the "E" and early C15's it came as a kit and included all the rocker-arms. When we found a bent one we normally got the OK from Cat to change them all.
