Cat ID display is dim

    Got an '01 Pete & the cat ID dash readout is dim. When running at night I can read it fine but during the day you you have to be about 6" away to see what it says. Any ideas?

    Really?? It's a read out in the dash that shows fuel economy, oil pressure, oil temp, trouble codes & so on.

    there is an adjustment for the light. scroll through to settings and adjust brightness.

    Thank you, I will give it a try. Bought the truck used & didn't get any instructions for the cat id, I'll have to play around with it.
