so I got parts together to convert to single turbo,,,I have acert in a 05 classic, does anyone have a single turbo in a classic? I'm trying to figure out inlet piping from air to front of turbo. maybe like a e model.

You know the twins can be pretty awesome with the right programming behind them
-
I would keep the twins, going to a single is more expensive than tuning it properly.
-
that's close but my air to air is more centered on the side,,
-
already made up my mind to go single. had friend do 3 so far with good results,, he just never did one in a classic, nothing to compare it too. I plan on keeping truck, if turbos ever go out going to be cheaper to replace one than two.
-
What's good results, no single offeres the useable power range the twins do while supporting the same amount of power.
Your friend did everything all at once instead of fixing the actual issues with the acert which is the programming and VVAs, so he wouldn't know how good a tuned acert can be. -
well true but hard to find the right person to tune it

Northeast of Dayton in Urbana, not even that far to travel.

well I put on a polished/ported exhaust manifold single turbo.. but truck is still lacking/losing power.
no check engines lights, actuators backed off air to air checked. boots ect. I pulled valve covers checked everything(has new wireing harness).
truck is mxs c 15 turned up too 550/1850 .
any thoughts on anything else I can look for? I did also replace boost sensor ,but I don't have a boost gauge in the truck. will be next thing I put in it.
