I might have a weep hole leak. I get a few drops here and there. ill pressure test next week or the week after when i have time. bigger fish to fry right now. I looked up my cat water pump on cat parts. com They want 1046.00 bucks for a new one. Im usually not a cheap ### and go with all cat parts but water pump is an easy install and im finding aftermarket ones all over the place for about 250. No brainer to me. 1000 bucks is pushing it for a water pump. i can get a nice turbo for that price which i would rather. What brand have some of you guys had good success with
CAT reputable aftermarket water pump?

Sounds like you are pricing new, Cat reman is less than half of that.

I have parts cd with part numbers and usually just go to cat website and buy direct. Doesn’t give me option for reman
Where can I get reman from
And thank you for the reply -
Truck dealer is usually cheaper than Cat dealer unless you buy a lot of machine parts. What is your P/N on pump?

Original p/n is 176-7000
New revised cat p/n is. 352-2077 -

No problem. Always play the line that the dealer across the street has it cheaper!
