Can anyone help me figure out how transfer my
cdl-a license to another state ?
I live in NJ moving to AZ . Will be renting a room/sharing house when I get there, want to transfer my license as soon as possible ,talked to CDL DMV there, they said I would have to show permenent residency, by utility bills or something that would show I live there, the problem is I will be renting room and won't have that proof, won't have job rite of way so can't lease apt , and will be hard to get job without state DL, does anyone know how to do this ? thanks

Usually a bill sent to your new address in YOUR NAME will do the trick. CO told me that a DOT medical card with your new address on it would be sufficient to provide residence proof.

Get your cellphone provider updated as quickly as possible, and have them send you a bill ASAP.
