I seen this thing on Ebay for $250 that claims .5-1.8 mpg. they don't have a whole lot of info about it but it is spliced into you ECM wiring harness at the ECM. Sounds to good to be true. even .25mpg for $250 is a good buy

I talked to them on the phone and he told me that it advanced the timing about 7 degrees. he seemed very knowleged and worked for cat for 10 years before developing this device. It doesn't add any more fuel that what already is deliverd. for $250 with a money back gaurantee I am going to take a chance with one.

I will for sure. I have learned so much from this site from other drivers and I can't wait to be able to share some info back. He told me the best they seen was a 1.8mpg increase so if it does anything close to half that it will be a steal.Even .5 mpg increase for $250 is a deal.

Why spend all that money when you can just add a resistor on the fuel wire and they say you gain instantly 40 hp. I bought a pack of 5 resistors for a couple of bucks. I still have not solder them on the the fuel wires cause I have a three wire fuel set up and it's a bit more complicated compare to your average two wire set up. But many swear by it. There many threads on here about it. Type in fuel wire on the box above and you get the thread on it. I wouldn't spend that money on ebay, if you really want more power, have it reflash with different codes, it should cost you about 500.00 or so.

Diesel Dave I think he is talking about the fuel and boost harness , I've got that feeling, they sell the set for $250.

Thats what I thought it was. But I've read thru the other threads, why spend that money when you can make /built your own hardness for a couple of bucks? And the boost wire ONLY makes it smoke and gain NO POWER. The only 1 that works is the fuel wire, which ebay is selling for alot more. I WOULDN'T BUY IT MYSELF. But thats me.

This isn't a fuel temp resistor. this thing advances the timing of the engine. He told me to remove the fuel temp and boost wire off my engine before puttint the the fuel xtender on.(just because he hasn't tried his program with the resistors yet himself) My ecm is done as far as it can go with out a complete custom $2500 reflash.
