Just to let the Cattle haulers know, running on Pre Pass is a no no, if youre a permitted load ( Kingpin Permit ) you can't run on Pre Pass. Big DOT is cracking down. Same if you're a Car Hauler, if you're running on a Overlength Permit, no Pre Pass.

Likely ran into it in one of the states that require all permited loads to go in.

I-10 coops are a excellent place to receive a $1000.00 over length ticket and not be able to leave until its paid

Not true, any citation you receive in Florida you have 20 Days to pay it, unless you're on the Overdue List, if you are it has to be paid then. But you are correct about the $1000 fine for bypassing a Scale with a permitted load. I'd be extra careful about taking SR90 exit to avoid the Scale.

I wish you were the officer that caught me when I had a car hanging off the back... since then, I avoid I-10, SR90 and basically the entire state of Florida.
