So you haven't been feeling the best lately and not eating the best, so you decide to pick up some vitamins. You start taking them and can't really tell much difference, in fact you continue feeling poorly or even worse than you did before. So maybe you take an extra one here and there and continue feeling bad. Why am I not feeling any better you say to yourself. Well this is why. Synthetic vitamins are useless to you and your body, that's right, TOXIC POISON that mimics the real thing. All that synthetic vitamins do is load your cells with a fake useless compound that tells your control center that we're full up on all the vitamins we need so no need for more, including real vitamins from the real food that we eat. That's right, synthetic vitamins make the gage read full when we are really on empty.

How do I know this? First hand experience and the destruction it has caused me. I stopped doing everything that I was doing to identify what was causing me problems. I then reintroduced these things one at a time so I could easily see the results. Synthetic vitamins has built up in my body and caused me so many problems that I could never list them all. Word to the wise: Leave that crap on the shelf where it belongs! It won't promote good health and will make you sick and could even kill you! It's no wonder people of foreign nations make fun of Americans for our vitamin habits! They know that we're poisoning ourselves with the crap they're selling us!

Synthetic vitamins are actually clones of the real vitamins. A clone is a mirror image. Therefore, real vitamins are called left sided vitamins while the synthetics are right sided. The body can only use left sided vitamins. Right sided simply don't work. Try using cod liver oil instead. If you do, make sure that you use the naturally fermented type only, such as Blue Ice which is put out by Green Pastures. Don't use the store type of cod liver oil. That type is bleached and the vitamins are removed and replaced with synthetics. Try using cod liver oil along with High Vitamin Butter Oil.

Recent studies have shown a man should take a multi-vitamin daily.
To help, as men age, with urination problems such as getting up frequently during the night to urinate, taking a "saw palmetto" pill 3 times a day helps. I now sleep thru the night without getting up even one time. Take one aspirin daily to help prevent stroke and heart attack. Been doing this for decades. I purchase 100mg Viagra for average $1.00 each from drugs-med online; then cut them into 6 pieces and take a piece daily with my multi-vitamin. This keeps me good to go for 3 times a week.
My next birthday will be 70 yrs. old & am as healthy as when I was 30, so says my doctor.
Went to my 50th yr. high school class reunion & took my 5 yr. old son with me.

So, these pills/vitamins, etc. affect us differently depending on the individual.

Reminds me of when we were kids, mom got the cod live oil with the flavoring and geez it was worse than the regular type, we would chase it with orange juice. Don't know if we were any healthier for it or not, but they are rediscovering things of the past for new generations.

Also, virtually everyone in America is magnesium deficient. There are hardly any foods left in this country that contain magnesium. Magnesium deficiency is said to cause high blood pressure, cancer, heart problems, asthma, type 2 diabetes, sore muscles after excercising, fatigue, sleep disorders such as sleep apnea and insomnia, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis. Familiar sounding list, isn't it? Magnesium is essential for bone building as it works in conjunction with calcium and vitamin D. It also fires the electrical impulses in the body. Magnesium is a muscle relaxant while calcium is a muscle exciter. The typical American diet is loaded with calcium while magnesium is sorely lacking. Magnesium is also required for eliminating poisons out of the body, such as potash from various foods, pollution. Back in the caveman days, magnesium was abundant in the foods gathered in the woods, while calcium was scarce. The human body adapted by learning how to store calcium for future use. Magnesium is eliminated daily. Everything reversed now and calcium is abundant while magnesium is scarce. I would suggest that you add natural magnesium to your diet. DO NOT USE PILLS!!! Magnesium has a very tightly bound molecular structure and your body will absorb only 4% of the pill. Use liquids, powders or oils only. Liquids and powders can cause diarrhea because another function of magnesium is to enable the body to eliminate its wastes daily. You don't want diarrhea while driving a truck! The preferred method is oils. The magnesium oil is rubbed onto the skin, thereby bypassing the colon. Health food stores sell these oils or you can order it on the internet. Believe it or not, the oils are simply water taken from salt lakes, such as the Great Salt Lake and the Dead Sea! They are giant pools of magnesium. If you are going by the Great Salt Lake in Utah, I guess you take your own bottles from the lake and save a fortune. The oils absorb into your body and takes the magnesium to where it is needed. You can also find the naturally fermented cod liver oil on the internet.

Probably not the ones who get their food fortified with vitamins. Lots of people in the world have to subsist on staple foods, which are deficient in some essential nutrients, and food fortification has helped them, as well as people in the USA (many of our foods are fortified).

Take The Vitamin A Story for example: "Studies have demonstrated that, in the long run, periodic vitamin A supplementation reduces deaths among pre-school age children in developing countries by about 25%. On the recommendation of the World Health Organization and UNICEF, more than one hundred countries worldwide now have implemented programs that give vitamin A to children. More than two million lives have been saved through these programs".

Thanks for that informed post. Reminds me years ago when i was a weight lifter and I studied that stuff. Man ive forgotten most of it.

Bananas are a good source of magnesium if I remember correctly and available at a lot of truck stops. They are also cheap. And yes, oils are looked at as fattening, but essential for vitamin distribution through the body.
